Governor Sonny Perdue prepares to cut the ribbon officially opening the Georgia Business Advisory Center (GBAC) in Beijing. The GBAC’s main missions are to spur economic development and trade and to promote tourism between China and the State of Georgia.

Governor Perdue (far right) is greeted by Chairman Liang Wengen of Sany Heavy Machine Co., Ltd., upon his arrival at company headquarters just outside Beijing.

Following the conclusion of the arrival ceremony, Governor Perdue ceremonially paints the lion’s eye.

His Excellency Dai Bingguo, State Councilor (Foreign Affairs) and Member of the 17th CPC Central Committee, presents Governor Perdue with a book of commemorative Olympic stamps.

During his remarks at the dinner celebrating the opening of Georgia’s Business Advisory Center, the Governor presented three people with a gift in deep gratitude for their tireless commitment to the development of the office in China.
